Does the City of Colorado Springs pick up bulk trash or big items?

No. Colorado Springs has no municipal trash or bulk-item collection at all — it's fully privatized, and your trash hauler won't take a couch, mattress, or appliance. There's no 'large item day.' A private crew like ours is how big things leave, and a flat photo-quote is the simplest way to do it.

Do you charge sales tax on the service?

No. Colorado doesn't tax the junk-removal service. The combined ~8.2% retail rate applies to goods, not haul-away, so there's no tax line on your quote — the flat price is the all-in price.

How does pricing work?

Flat, from a photo, before anyone shows up. Single items have set prices — sofa $170, refrigerator $221, queen mattress $139. Bigger jobs price by truck-fill: $325 (quarter), $580 (half), $985 (full). The $75 minimum covers a small pickup. Labor, the basement/garage carry, and disposal are always included.

Do you handle military PCS move-outs?

Yes — it's our signature job. We clear off-post rentals and on-post homes at Fort Carson, Peterson, Schriever, and the Academy for the final inspection, on your PCS timeline. Book ahead for the May–August surge; same-day when a crew's open.

Do you clear basements and garages?

Yes. Springs homes have basements — many walk-out or garden-level — and big attached garages, so they're the jobs we do most. We carry it up and out, no floor fee, priced as a flat truck-fill.

Can you take a refrigerator, washer, or hot tub?

Yes. Fridges and freezers get EPA-certified freon recovery; Colorado bans e-waste from landfills so TVs and electronics are recycled. Hot tubs are torn down and hauled as a heavy-item job.

Do you clear defensible space / wildfire brush?

Yes — for the foothill and forest edge (Black Forest, Rockrimmon/Mountain Shadows, Cheyenne Mountain, Manitou) we haul brush, slash, and debris from defensible-space clearing.

¿Hablan español?

Sí. Atendemos en español en el Southeast, Security-Widefield, Cimarron Hills y Fountain — precio fijo con foto, sin impuesto sobre el servicio.
